Holiday Cookout Style for the Family

Memorial Day weekend is coming up, and everyone is excited for a long weekend! I enjoy these holidays because it means cookout season! I like to spend time outdoors, especially when the weather is really nice.

I put together some outfits for the whole family. I didn’t go with the traditional red, white and blue this time, as we’ll save that for the 4th of July. I love Old Navy, as you can buy an entire outfit for the whole family, and at great prices! So, all of the looks are from there.

Linen is a summer staple for its breathable, lightweight fabric. My favorite silhouette is cinched at the waist, so I love this drawstring dress. Pair it with nude sandals for a casual, yet polished look.

Keep it cool during the summer day with a leightweight tshirt and drawstring shorts for dad. Pair it with slipons or sneakers to complete the look.

The same rules can apply for dad and brother–shorts and a t-shirt in breathable fabrics. I like these denim drawstring shorts, as my son has a small waist. He can get a lot of wear out of them as there is sure to be room to grow.

Old Navy has the cutest bubble rompers, and the one below is definitely one of them. I love the stripes and colors, and how cute are the sandals! Complete the look with a cute black bow (P.S. I’ve fallen in love with Baby Bling headbands as they don’t leave a mark on my little ones forehead!)

Can you believe each look is under $45?That means you can shop the entire family’s outfits for about $150!

Olivia’s Closet: Rompers

Rompers are my favorite to wear for spring/summer, and I love dressing Olivia in them. They’re super easy to style, as I pick ones with fun prints. All you have to do is add a cute pair of shoes and a matching headband and you’re done!

Olivia is Two Months

Baby girl is growing! She is officially 8 weeks today, but we will say she is two months this week!

I just love dressing up this little princess. She is already wearing 3-6 month clothes! We have her checkup this week, so I’m eager to see how much she weighs and measures in height.

She’s smiling more and more. I’m always looking for ways to make her smile! She likes to pull her hair while she’s eating or when she’s full. She lifts her head like a pro and turns her head from side to side when she hears a noise or someone’s voice.

She went swimming with her cousins Kelise  yesterday! She was so calm and I can’t wait to take her to the beach next. I loved her cute little swimsuit!
